The museum is in the centre of Melton Mowbray, within an easy walk of the market, shops and many local cafes and restaurants. Entry to the museum is free.
Melton Carnegie Museum is housed in the town's former Carnegie Library with the entrance is on Thorpe End, opposite St John's church. A step-free entrance, suitable for wheelchair and buggy users, can be accessed at the side of the building on Rosebery Avenue. Our toilets are accessible, including a Changing Place and baby changing facilities. All visitors are welcome, including assistance dogs.
The Museum is a 10-15 minute walk from Melton Mowbray Railway Station, 5 minutes from bus stops on Windsor Street and close to numerous car parks in and around the town centre.
