Archaeology Talk on Brooksby Quarry by Matt Beamish MA (Cantab) MCIfA

This talk will focus on Brooksby Quarry and the archaeological work that was done there from 2007-2020. There is evidence of early human occupation in the area with the evidence thought to be from the Lower Palaeolithic period, prior to 450,000 years ago. This talk will include what the evidence is, how it was found and what it might mean.
