In this talk Brian will look at Melton Mowbray in World War Two.

During WW2 Melton Mowbray was the home to several Battalions of the Parachute Regiment, there was the Remount Depot training horses and dogs for the Army. There was also RAF Melton Mowbray and the Home Guard plus search light units. But what else went on in Melton during WW2? What did the civilians get up to?

Doors open at 6.30pm and the talk starts at 7.00pm.

It's £4 per person that can be paid on the door.
